We are seeking passionate Demi Chefs to join our talented culinary team. The Role

Every memorable guest experience is shaped by moments of exceptional hospitality, and some of the most memorable begin at the table. As a Demi Chef, you will play an important role in bringing those moments to life through creativity, precision and a passion for exceptional food.

Working across our restaurants, bars, Club InterContinental, In-Room Dining and banqueting operations, you will prepare exceptional dishes using quality local produce and contemporary techniques. You will contribute to memorable dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.

As our Demi Chef, you will:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across a variety of hotel dining outlets.

• Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation in line with InterContinental standards.

• Support the kitchen team during service while contributing to a collaborative working environment.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Assist with stock rotation, food storage and waste minimisation.

• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment.

• Contribute ideas, creativity and a passion for continuous learning.

• Deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional attention to detail.

You will be passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional quality.

You will also have:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.

• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or Culinary Arts from a recognised training provider.

• A genuine passion for food and contemporary cooking techniques.

• Sound understanding of food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety practices.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a busy kitchen brigade.

• Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster.
