We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded leader who can help shape our growth journey as Senior Business Development Manager while remaining connected to the purpose behind what we do—helping older Australians and their families navigate one of life's most important decisions with confidence and dignity.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and a direct report to the CEO, the Senior Business Development Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team across business development, client acquisition and marketing, you will play a critical role in reviewing and defining our sales process, building strategic partnerships and developing market-leading customer acquisition and lead nurturing strategies.
You will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy that strengthens the Aunty Grace brand, generates sustainable growth, and ensures more older Australians can access high-quality support in their own homes.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Developing and implementing Aunty Grace's business development and growth strategy.
Leading and inspiring a high-performing business development, client acquisition and marketing team by defining, educating and coaching the team on our sales propositions and point of difference
Building and strengthening referral pathways and strategic partnerships across the aged care, health and community services sectors.
Identifying emerging market trends, opportunities and risks within the Support at Home and aged care sectors.
Enhancing Aunty Grace's brand presence and market positioning.
Driving lead generation, lead nurturing and conversion strategies through effective use of marketing channels.
Working closely with senior leaders to ensure growth strategies align with client needs and organisational objectives.
Using data, market insights and customer feedback to continuously refine Aunty Grace's go-to-market approach.
What Success Looks Like
Develop and execute a clear growth and client acquisition strategy aligned to Aunty Grace's strategic objectives.
Working collaboratively across the business to ensure our client value proposition is commercially compelling, operationally achievable, and aligned with the experience we deliver.
Increase Aunty Grace-generated leads and strengthen our pipeline of prospective clients.
Improve lead-to-client conversion outcomes through effective sales and nurturing processes.
Establish new referral, partnership and growth channels that expand our reach in the market.
Enhance the Aunty Grace brand and strengthen market awareness across key stakeholder groups.
Identify opportunities created through evolving aged care reforms and market trends.
Deliver sustainable growth while maintaining an unwavering focus on client experience and service quality.
About You
You are an experienced growth leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to achieving results.
You understand that successful business development is about more than sales—it's about building meaningful relationships, understanding customer needs and creating value for the people and communities you serve.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior business development, growth, sales, commercial or marketing leadership role.
Demonstrated success developing and executing business development or client acquisition strategies.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across business development, sales and marketing functions.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Experience building referral pathways, partnerships and stakeholder networks.
Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
Highly Regarded
Experience within aged care, home care, healthcare, community services, disability services, allied health, retirement living or other relationship-driven service sectors.
Understanding of the Support at Home program, aged care reforms and the factors influencing consumer decision-making in aged care.
Experience operating within a regulated service environment.
