In this internship, you will be trained in the latest techniques and have the chance to apply them in real-world applications. The internship is quite focused on content capturing and creating as well as skills on learning the softrware and processes in a cutting edge marketing agency.

At CPM, we are passionately dedicated to elevating Australia’s food scene! We work with some of the country’s top hospitality businesses, employing various marketing strategies, including social media content marketing, paid social media advertising, digital PR, influencer marketing, and EDMs.

This unpaid internship is the perfect stepping stone into the world of social media marketing. You will learn cutting-edge techniques and apply them to gain competency in content creation, strategy development, and campaign execution.

Graduates from our intern program have left excited, confident, and equipped with real-world skills that are directly applicable to future positions.

As part of our forward-thinking team, you’ll get mentoring from the CEO and senior team members, empowering you to develop new ideas and build confidence in your abilities.

  What You’ll Learn and Do:

• Content creation for REELs/TikToks
• Researching and identifying viral REEL trends and applying them
• Developing REEL run sheets for photoshoots to create viral content.
• Filming and directing REEL content.
• Editing and uploading REEL content and posting REELs with optimised captions and hashtags.
• Monitoring and analysing REEL performance to refine future strategies.
• Gaining hands-on experience with social media tools and software. Including Meta scheduling, 
• learning Meta tools such as Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager
• Analysing Meta Ads and refining paid strategies
• Google Business updates and optimisation
• Participating in creative brainstorming sessions to generate impactful marketing ideas and implementing strategies
• Community Group research and strategic posting
• Correct use of AI tools and how to integrate them into your marketing

Requirements:

• Preferably have some previous marketing or social media knowledge.
• Preferably studying or have studied Marketing, Media, Advertising, or Communications.
• Must know how to use social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• A love of food is not compulsory but it helps, as you’ll be working with it often!
• Knowing different cuisines and food types is a big plus.
• Must be able to intern 2 days a week ( Tues & Thurs) for 33 days (approx. 3+ months).
• Must be able to travel to Pyrmont, Sydney, to intern in a collaborative office environment on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (If your university schedule allows other days, let us know, and we’ll try to accommodate.)

This is an unpaid internship but offers the opportunity to develop exceptional digital and social media marketing skills.
