About the role
EverythingU Pty Ltd
EverythingU is growing our support teams across the Gold Coast and we are looking for experienced, compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join us.
We currently have opportunities supporting several participants with a range of support needs, from community access and daily living assistance through to complex physical disability, high-intensity supports, behaviours of concern and personal care.
We are particularly interested in Support Workers who are looking to become part of a regular participant team, rather than simply picking up occasional shifts.
About the RolesWe currently have several opportunities available across the Gold Coast, including support for participants who may require:
• Personal care, including showering and daily living assistance
• Complex physical disability support
• High-intensity personal supports
• Medication support and administration
• Manual handling and mobility assistance
• Community access and meaningful participation
• Support for people with vision impairment
• Support involving Guide Dogs and assistance animals
• Positive Behaviour Support Plan implementation
• Support for behaviours of concern
• Household routines and daily living tasks
• Accurate progress notes, documentation and incident reporting
Depending on the participant, shifts range from short 2-hour support shifts through to longer rostered shifts, with a variety of days and times available.
We are currently looking for Support Workers to join several established and developing participant teams, so there may also be opportunities to work across more than one participant where the right skills, availability and fit align.
Experience We're Particularly Looking ForWe would love to hear from Support Workers with experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Complex physical disability
• High-intensity support
• Personal care and showering
• Manual handling and mobility support
• Behaviours of concern
• Positive Behaviour Support Plans
• Restrictive practices
• Vision impairment or blindness
• Working with participants who use Guide Dogs
• Mental health or psychosocial disability
• Community access and capacity building
You don't need to have experience in every area.
What matters to us is finding the right Support Worker for the right participant.
About YouWe are looking for Support Workers who are reliable, respectful, confident and genuinely person-centred.
You understand that every participant is different and that good support isn't about taking the same approach with everyone.
You will be able to follow individual support plans and participant-specific routines, communicate professionally with families and other members of the support team, and provide consistent support while respecting each person's independence, dignity, choice and preferences.
Essential Requirements• Relevant disability support experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or similar, or relevant demonstrated experience
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current Blue Card where required
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to follow participant-specific care plans, support strategies and protocols
• A professional, respectful and dependable approach
Experience with high-intensity supports, complex physical disability, behaviours of concern, restrictive practices, vision impairment or Guide Dogs will be highly regarded.
Shifts AvailableWe have a mix of short and longer shifts available across the Gold Coast.
Some participants require shorter, targeted supports such as personal care or showering, while others have longer regular shifts involving daily living support, community access and more complex care.
We are particularly interested in applicants who can provide ongoing availability and consistency to their participant team.
Where appropriate, there may be an opportunity to combine shifts across different participants to provide additional hours.
PayPay rates and applicable penalty rates will be in accordance with the SCHADS Award and the classification appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Classification will be determined based on the participant's support requirements, the duties performed and the Support Worker's qualifications and experience.
Why Join EverythingU?At EverythingU, we believe support should feel personal.
We provide NDIS supports focused on choice, independence, dignity and genuine connection.
We don't believe in simply filling shifts. We focus on building the right team around each participant, with Support Workers whose experience, personality and approach are genuinely suited to the person they are supporting.
Working with us means:
• Becoming part of a regular participant team
• A variety of support opportunities across the Gold Coast
• Participant-specific orientation and training
• A respectful and supportive workplace
• Working within smaller teams where consistency matters
• Opportunities to work across participants where appropriate
• Being valued for the skills and experience you bring
• The opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's everyday life
If you're an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for regular work on the Gold Coast, we'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your Resume and Cover Letter and tell us:
• Your disability support experience
• Any experience with complex care, high-intensity supports or behaviours of concern
• Any experience supporting people with vision impairment or Guide Dogs
• Your availability
• The Gold Coast areas you're able to work in
• Whether you're interested in short shifts, longer shifts, or a combination of both
We are currently building and expanding several participant teams, so even if one particular role isn't the right fit, there may be another opportunity with EverythingU that is.
