Office & Operations Assistant

Nepean Food Services is a well-established community organisation, providing Meals on Wheels and Social Support Services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to consumers who live in the Penrith Local Government Area (LGA), Hawkesbury (LGA) and suburbs of Warragamba and Silverdale in the Wollondilly LGA.

We are looking for an Office & Operations Assistant on a casual basis to work at our Hawkesbury office with demonstrated experience in computer skills, a passion for working in a team environment and confidence in adapting to new and changing position requirements with database experience. This role would suit a friendly, reliable, self-motivated team-player with a strong focus on the consumer who thrives in a busy environment while helping in the provision of an efficient and reliable service to our consumers.

To be successful in this position you will need:

• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, in particular MS Office Software suite and databases entryskills.

• Passion for and experience working within a team environment to support consumers to identify and meet their goals.

•   Demonstrated experience in both verbal and written communication skills to all consumers who contact our organisation.

• Excellent time management skills with attention to detail to assist in indicating best practice.

• Experience working in a cold room environment and lift 10kg cartons repetitively.

• LMultitasking skills while managing competing priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete works tasks in a timely manner.

The successful applicant may be offered a permanent part-time position after a trial period of working with Nepean Food Services.
