About the role

team at York Law Family Law Specialists is a boutique family law practice in Sydney CBD. This full-time role is based in our Sydney CBD office and offers the opportunity to work with one of the best family law firms in Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Provide exceptional quality legal advice and representation to clients on a range of family law matters, including financial settlements, parenting, international family law issues and child support.

• Court appearances, run interim hearings, preparation of cases for trial.

• Demonstrate strategy and thinking outside of the box to case management and finalisation of disputes

• Take instructions from clients, liaise with barristers, and other legal professionals to ensure the smooth progression of cases

• Assist with the preparation of court documents, including affidavits and submissions

What we're looking for

• Admitted as a solicitor with minimum 4plus years of post-admission experience in family law

• Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Passion for family law and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
