Program Manager

Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with just over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services; in over 11 locations across the Perth Metro, Goldfields and Bunbury region.

About the Role

The Program Manager position provides an exciting opportunity to coordinate, manage and oversee the operational day to day running of a suite of services from our Gosnells branch. This full time role is accountable for the overall performance, reputation, and development of Centrecare's activities and workforce for the office.

Based at our Gosnells branch, this position is part of our Senior Management Team, reporting to the Executive Manager. It is one of two Program Manager roles at the branch, providing management and guidance to a diverse team of staff working across adult reintegration and homelessness services, supporting families, children, young people, and adults.

A few specifics:

• A role model for both staff and clients in alignment and compliance with Centrecare’s policies, systems, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure all staff are operating within Centrecare’s Therapeutic Framework.
• Provide management supervision and support to staff, including performance reviews.
• Conduct regular audits of service standards and ensure the integrity of systems, processes, and procedures across operations.
• Ensure integration of services and resources.
• Provide regular updates and reports to Executive Manager on service delivery, outcomes and where necessary early warning of any potential issues.
• Contribute to the Agency leadership and management team as requested.

What we are looking for

We are interested in a strong leader and communicator with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Senior Management on long term goals. Someone that can support, mentor, and provide staff with a solution focused approach.

To be successful, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling, Community Development and/or related disciplines.
• A commitment to lead within Centrecare’s Purpose, Values, Therapeutic Framework and develop the agency ethos.
• The ability to demonstrated senior management experience in providing oversight of culturally appropriate, strength-based approaches to clinical services for children, young people and families.
• The ability to lead a team of professionals with innovative and flexible techniques to work collaboratively and motivate staff as well as manage conflict and work well under pressure.
• The ability to analyse and present program data as well as write tenders and reports.
• Proven Senior Management experience in the Community Services sector, including Government and not-for-profit organisations.
• Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of counselling approaches and theoretical frameworks applicable to office based and outreach service delivery.
• To have (or be able to obtain) a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a positive Department of Justice screening check, a WA Working with Children Check and a WA Drivers Licence.
