OT Clinical Lead

About the role

As Clinical Lead at FCA, you'll help ensure that every report, recommendation, and clinical decision reflects high standards. You'll be the clinical "go-to" person, supporting the team to grow their confidence, develop their skills, and continue delivering outstanding outcomes for participants. This is a leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to influence practice, drive innovation, and help build a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to the team of clinicians
• Be a trusted mentor and sounding board for complex cases
• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth
• Review and support the quality of Functional Capacity Assessment reports
• Develop and maintain clinical governance frameworks and best-practice standards
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and encourage continuous learning
• Facilitate clinical supervision, mentoring, and case discussions
• Support onboarding and training of new clinicians
• Create opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional development across the team
• Partner with leadership to strengthen and grow clinical services

About you

• Current AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or relevant allied health profession)
• Extensive experience conducting Functional Capacity Assessments
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or leading clinicians
• Outstanding report-writing and clinical reasoning skills
• A passion for quality, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging team culture
