About the role
Academy for Early Learners is looking for a full-time Childcare Worker.
As our Childcare Worker, you will work in a warm and dynamic team based at West Pymble, Sydney.
Academy for Early Learners offers:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Enthusiastically deliver community programs and services appropriate to children and young families. This will include facilitating all our Supported Playgroups, and school holiday community programs and family events.
Provide care and supervision for children in programs, at our childcare centre
Maintain and manage the SECC Community Toy Library
Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
Preparing and conducting activities for children
Entertaining children by reading and playing games
Supervising children in recreational activities
Supervising the daily routine of children
Supervising the hygiene of children
AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
At least one year or more work exoerience in the same or similar role
Experience working with children or within a community development role
The demonstrated ability to network and work cooperatively with other community organisations
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
A current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Ideally experience and knowledge of community and family services
