The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Project Delivery - Property & Infrastructure to lead a portfolio of complex property, infrastructure and construction projects and initiatives across the Bank's national footprint for our internal clients who own and maintain the assets.

Based within the Enterprise Strategy & Change Department, this role is responsible for the governance, oversight and delivery of a project portfolio valued at more than $100 million over the next five years. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the Bank, you will help shape and deliver infrastructure investments that support critical operations, organisational priorities and long-term strategic outcomes.

This is 5 Year Maximum Term Contract.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic direction, governance and oversight across a diverse portfolio that includes workplace projects, major asset delivery programs, and critical infrastructure upgrades within highly secure, operational environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning, governance and delivery of complex property and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful outcomes across cost, quality, schedule and operational continuity.

• Driving project delivery excellence through the application of project management, governance and change management frameworks.

• Aligning project delivery with long term organisational strategy, asset management plans and lifecycle planning.

• Identifying and managing risks, issues and interdependencies across the project portfolio.

• Providing strategic advice on project delivery, business change and portfolio management to support enterprise objectives.

• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and drive successful delivery.

• Overseeing project budgets, procurement activities and vendor performance to achieve value-for-money outcomes.

• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing property and infrastructure project delivery team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Reporting to and presenting at governance forums, Steering Committees and senior stakeholder groups.

About You

You are an accomplished project delivery leader with significant experience managing large-scale capital works, property or infrastructure portfolios within complex corporate, government or infrastructure environments.

You will bring:

• Proven success delivering major construction, property and infrastructure projects.

• Significant experience overseeing the development of project procurement strategies.

• Experience administering various construction contract forms, undertaking commercial negotiations, and managing vendor performance.

• Experience managing design consultants and contractors and leading teams who do.

• Experience leading projects in secure, critical, and complex operational environments.

• Demonstrated experience driving a safety culture in project delivery.

• Strong project governance, commercial management, risk management and portfolio leadership capability.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing future leaders.

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including at executive level.

• Experience operating within enterprise change, transformation or strategic delivery environments.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience, project management certification, and/or construction management certification desirable but not essential
