Full-Time | $35–$38 per hour + Technician Bonus

Are you an experienced Automotive Technician who can hit the ground running, work independently and still enjoy being part of a great team?

Downtown Toyota is looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our Service team at Morningside.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job properly, can work autonomously and is happy to share their knowledge with others. If you enjoy helping apprentices develop and want to be part of a workshop where your experience is valued, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?

• $35–$38 per hour, depending on your skills and experience

• Technician bonus structure

• Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:06pm

• Only occasional Saturdays – approximately one per month

• Overtime opportunities when available

What we’re looking for

You’ll need:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Your own tools

• The ability to work confidently and autonomously

• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

• A team-first attitude

• A willingness to help train and mentor apprentices

• A positive attitude – we work hard, but we also like to have some fun!

Toyota experience would be great, but it’s not essential. If you’re a strong technician coming from another brand, we’d still love to hear from you.
