About the role
Jaylon Environmental Systems Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced HDPE -Labourers, Techs, QAs, Operators, Leading Hands to Supervisor.
Interstate Projects
Responsibilities & Roles
2:1 roster available with other rosters available upon agreement.
12 months work with pathways to full time positions.
Night shift project available.
Perform quality geomembrane welds and construction techniques that meet quality standards and client expectations and full compliance with project specification, methodologies and site instructions.
Professional installation of geosynthetic liners on-site.
Labouring on a HDPE liner crew with on-site training to progress
A thorough understanding of the field requirements to undertake a geosynthetic installation, in particular the existence of and the type of welding, testing and ancillary equipment.
Perform geomembrane welding and repairs under direction or unsupervised.
Using products including but not limited to HDPE, LLDPE, GCL, BGM, Geocomposite, Enviroliner etc.
Ensure welding equipment is fully maintained, cleaned and serviced.
QA/QC; Test integrity of all welds (fusion & extrusion) and ensure all welds meet the minimum specification requirements.
Participating in and supervising installation projects from small to large throughout Australia when required as applicable to skill level as determined by management.
Skills and Experience Required
Preferred-At least 1 year of relevant HDPE experience in construction based HDPE/Sheet/Poly welding industries.
Preferred-Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
Preferred-Hold a current IAGI Certified Welding Technician certificate.
Ability to pass medical and fitness for work for mine sites.
Ability to travel for work as this position entails Australia-wide travel for site based projects.
Rights to work in Australia. Pathway to visa if experience criteria can be matched.
Able to understand and follow instructions from Jaylon management.
Be a recognised team player and have the ability to work in a team based environment.
Commitment and a good attitude towards safety and culture.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic, changing environment.
Understand and work to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) requirements.
Training and development programmes offered to all candidates at all levels.
