Noddle is a new Australian finance brokerage specialising in personal loans and car loans, backed by the Jacaranda Finance Group.

We’re a broker, not a lender. That means our job isn’t to sell customers whatever happens to be on our shelf , it’s to understand their situation, compare options across our lender panel and help them find finance that genuinely fits.

We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Finance Broker to join us as one of our first dedicated team members. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the beginning of a new brand, help shape how we do things and build something alongside an experienced team.

As a Finance Broker, you’ll work directly with customers looking for personal and car finance.

You’ll take the time to understand each customer’s circumstances, review their financial position and credit profile, identify suitable options from our lender panel and guide them through the process from initial enquiry through to settlement.

You’ll be supported by technology designed to make the process faster and simpler, but at Noddle, we believe technology should enable great people, not replace them.

• Speaking with customers to understand their needs, goals and financial circumstances
• Assessing customer applications and identifying appropriate lending options
• Matching customers with suitable lenders from our panel
• Clearly explaining rates, fees, repayments and total loan costs
• Preparing and submitting applications to lenders
• Managing applications from enquiry through to approval and settlement
• Building strong relationships with customers and lender partners
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the process
• Maintaining accurate records and meeting responsible lending and compliance requirements
• Working closely with Noddle's Founder, People and Compliance & Audit teams
• Helping shape our processes, customer experience and broker function as Noddle grows

We’re looking for someone who knows finance but, just as importantly, knows how to deal with people.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience in finance broking, consumer lending, personal loans, car finance or a similar lending environment
• Strong understanding of consumer credit and responsible lending obligations
• Experience working with multiple lenders and understanding different lending policies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain finance in plain English
• Strong attention to detail and confidence managing applications from start to finish
• A customer-first mindset - you want to find the right outcome, not simply make a sale
• The ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• A proactive attitude and genuine excitement about joining a new business at the beginning of its journey

Relevant broking qualifications and industry membership will be highly regarded.

Noddle is an independent Australian finance broker specialising in personal loans up to $80,000 and car loans up to $200,000.

We start the comparison process using an Access Seeker enquiry, which does not impact the customer's credit score. Our brokers then review the customer's circumstances and match them with lenders on our panel most likely to suit their needs.

Customers can see the rate, fees and total cost before deciding whether they want to proceed with a formal application.
