We’re looking for an enthusiastic and community minded Assistant Team Leader to join our passionate retail team in Kiama and a Casual Retail Assistant to work across the 5 Lifeline Shops in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Assistant Team Leader

As Assistant Team Leader, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Team Leader to create a welcoming, vibrant and thriving shop for our local community. You’ll help guide and support our valued volunteers, deliver excellent customer service, and foster a positive, inclusive team culture. Together, you’ll help create a shop that not only serves the community but also makes a meaningful difference by generating vital funds to support Lifeline South Coast’s services.

This is a hands-on role where your adaptability, communication skills and collaborative approach will shine.

What you’ll bring:

• Retail experience with some leadership or supervisory exposure

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• An interest in fashion, brands and Secondhand retail

• Openness to giving and receiving feedback

• A flexible, solutions focused approach

• A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive workplace

Casual Retail Assistant

The Casual Retail Assistant role is an important part of our retail team, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for our customers and volunteers. You’ll support the team in delivering excellent customer service, working alongside our volunteers and helping our shops connect with and give back to the local community. Every interaction contributes to our broader mission and helps generate vital funds to support Lifeline South Coast’s services.

You bring:

• Retail experience

• Strong communication skills

• Openness to giving and receiving feedback

• An interest in fashion and Secondhand retail
