Labourer Water

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer Water to join our Water Services team.

In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of water and sewerage services across the Cassowary Coast region. Working collaboratively with a skilled team, you will assist with the construction, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater infrastructure, helping to ensure essential services are delivered to our community.

About the Role

• Construct, maintain and repair water mains and service connections.

• Respond to faults, customer requests and emergency call-outs as required.

• Operate tablets, GIS mapping systems and digital work management tools.

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver safe and efficient water services.

• Maintain positive customer relations and represent Council professionally at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in tropical conditions.

• Experience in civil construction, water, sewerage or similar field-based work.

• Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills.

• Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
