About The RoleWe are looking for a reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse team at the Port of Brisbane.This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching customer orders safely and accurately. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep stock organised and ensure orders leave the warehouse on time.
What you’ll doLoad and unload trucks using a forkliftReceive, count and check incoming goodsCheck deliveries against orders and delivery paperworkLabel and safely store productsPick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatchComplete shipping and transport documentationArrange collections with transport providersAssist with stocktakes and inventory controlEnter receiving, dispatch and stock information into the warehouse systemMaintain a safe, clean and organised work area
What you’ll bringA current Australian forklift licenceCurrent Chain of Responsibility trainingPrevious stores, warehouse or dispatch experienceConfidence using computers and warehouse or inventory systemsGood attention to detail when checking stock and paperworkA reliable and safety-focused approachThe ability to organise your workload and meet dispatch deadlines
Experience using Epicor or another ERP system and a warehousing or logistics qualification would be helpful but are not essential.
Applicants must currently hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia. Employer-sponsored visa support is not available for this position.
