Administration & Customer Service Assistant – Part-Time

About the role

This is a varied position combining administration, customer service, order management and day-to-day operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person

• Processing and managing customer orders

• General administration, data entry and maintaining accurate records

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and our internal team

• Following up orders and keeping customers updated

• Assisting warehouse staff with receipting and checking incoming goods

• Preparing orders and facilitating customer collections

• Assisting with dispatch and ensuring goods are ready for delivery

• Providing general support across the office and warehouse

• Occasionally assisting with basic marketing activities, including social media posts

About you

• Is friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers

• Has excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Is computer literate and comfortable learning new systems

• Is reliable, practical and happy to get involved

• Communicates well with customers, suppliers and colleagues

• Can work independently and as part of a small team

• Is proactive and willing to help wherever needed

• Has some familiarity with social media and is comfortable creating simple posts

• MYOB experience is advantageous, as is experience in window furnishings, blinds, curtains, interiors or a related industry
