About the role

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering great work and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

As a key member of the Client Service team, you’ll act as a trusted day-to-day partner for your clients, working closely with our creative, production and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and to a high standard.

With a strong understanding of your clients’ businesses, challenges and objectives, you’ll be able to translate their needs into clear briefs and work with our internal teams to develop the right solutions. You’ll be confident asking the right questions upfront, managing expectations and keeping clients and internal teams aligned throughout the process.

You’ll be responsible for:

Reporting to the Head of Client Service, some (but not all) of the role’s responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day client relationships, ensuring a high quality of service and overall client satisfaction.
• Developing a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, brands and marketing strategies to anticipate their needs and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Identifying opportunities for additional scopes, projects and Wellcom services across existing clients.
• Preparing and presenting reports, proposals and project updates to clients.
• Coordinating client briefs and projects, ensuring all necessary information, requirements, timelines and deliverables are clearly captured.
• Working closely with creative, production, technical and other internal teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Overseeing projects from brief through to delivery, proactively managing timelines, budgets, expectations and any issues that arise.
• Building and fostering strong client relationships through regular face-to-face, telephone and email communication.
• Supporting client reviews and reporting to ensure agreed service levels and client expectations are being met.

Experience, skills, and expertise

We are looking for someone who has: 

• 3–4 years’ experience in an account service role within the advertising, creative or marketing industry.
• Previous creative agency experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and acting as a key day-to-day client contact.
• A proven track record of successfully working across account service, creative, production and technical teams.
• A demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality work.
• Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project budgets and identify opportunities for account growth.
• A strategic mindset with a strong creative focus.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
