Accountant

Job Description

This position is responsible for Month end finalisation and meeting KPIs on reporting packs required by Leadership team. Assist the Senior Accountant, Financial Controller and other finance team members in preparing ad hoc report for management decision making.

Job Requirements

CPA/CA Qualified (or equivalent qualifications)Previous experience in Big 4 engagement is highly desirable Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge and is thorough and accurateProven customer service and communication skillsAdvanced spreadsheet skillsStrong organisational and prioritisation skills – meets specific deadlines and reports regularly on progressAnalyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability Knowledge on Lease products, services, processes transactions is favouredWorking knowledge of Miles and Microsoft AX application or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

Recommending for process improvements and streamline existing processDocument the finance process and train team members efficiently and effectivelyAssisting projects such as migrations, system enhancementsAssisting in preparation of monthly Financial accountsReconciliation of general ledger accountsReconciliation of debtors and creditors accounts, attend to internal and external enquiries regarding accounts Attend to internal and external enquiries regarding accountsAssist FC/Commercial Analyst in providing the related GL data for management decision making Complies with the policies, systems and processes approved from time to timeAssist with miscellaneous financial projectsPreparation of monthly internal and external returnsContribute towards quality management to achieve greater efficiencies and continue improvementAd hoc reporting and other task as required
