Finance Business Analyst - SAP

We have an opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst to join us to support the successful integration of SAP across a complex contract and project delivery environment. This role will be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract arrangement.

About the role

You will support project delivery across accounting and operational finance functions of our SAP S/4HANA implementation for our service-based business. You will work closely with the business transformation team to ensure the Utilities business is represented and to identify improvements before system implementation.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Finance and Business teams to ensure requirements are captured.

• Supporting change management activities by documenting process changes and their business impact.

• Assisting with data cleansing, data mapping, and construction of data files.

• Assisting with the coordination of multiple Stakeholders for data gathering and consolidation.

• Assisting with UAT.

• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure finance-related business requirements are integrated across different workstreams.

• Providing insights into potential risks and dependencies during the project.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Finance (FI/CO) projects.

• Hands-on experience with Finance (FI/CO) modules.

• Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cost Accounting.

• Experience with system implementation projects and requirements gathering.

• Knowledge of integration points between Finance and other modules (e.g. PS, MM, SD).

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced project environment.

• Tertiary or SAP related certifications would be highly regarded.
