About the role
Casual | Part Time | Full Time
Gold Coast & Brisbane
Career opportunities across all companies within Alo Group Brand
Snaptured is a premium event hire company servicing the Gold Coast, Brisbane and South East Queensland.
We work across everything from intimate private events to major corporate activations and events with more than 4,000 attendees.
Our team has worked on events and activations involving brands and organisations including Coca-Cola, Netflix, Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Dreamworld, Amazon, Samsung, Sony, Red Bull and Virgin.
We are looking for reliable, well-presented and genuinely customer-focused people to join our growing events team.
This is not simply a setup and pack-down role.
We are looking for people who enjoy helping others, communicate confidently, take pride in presentation, notice the small details and are comfortable using computers and technology.
You will work across weddings, corporate events, private functions, brand activations and major events throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Depending on the event, your role may include:
Operating photo booths and interactive event experiences
Greeting and assisting guests
Providing excellent customer service
Communicating professionally with clients, venue staff and event organisers
Delivering, setting up and collecting event equipment
Setting up photo booths, backdrops, lighting and other event hire products
Assisting with special effects and activations
Troubleshooting basic equipment, computer or software issues onsite
Helping with larger setups and pack-downs
Ensuring every setup is polished and presented to a high standard
Customer service is one of the most important parts of this role.
You may be representing Snaptured to a bride and groom, corporate organiser, venue manager or hundreds of guests, so your attitude, communication and presentation matter.
The right person will have:
Excellent customer service skills
Professional presentation
Strong attention to detail
A genuine willingness to help others
Good computer and technology skills
Confidence communicating with clients and guests
A friendly and approachable personality
Strong problem-solving skills
Initiative and the ability to think on your feet
Excellent reliability and punctuality
The ability to remain calm under pressure
A willingness to learn new equipment and systems
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
We particularly value people who notice something needs doing and simply get it done.
You do not need to be an IT expert, but much of our equipment is technology-based.
You should be comfortable using computers, tablets, printers, cameras, software and electronic equipment, as well as learning new systems and carrying out basic troubleshooting.
If something does not connect, print or respond, we are looking for someone who will calmly work through the problem.
No two shifts are exactly the same.
One weekend you might operate a photo booth at a wedding. The next you could be assisting with a major corporate activation, working at a theme park, attending a five-star venue or helping deliver an event for several thousand guests.
It is a great role for someone who enjoys people, technology and events and wants something more interesting than a standard hospitality shift.
Most events take place on:
Friday afternoons and nights
Saturdays and Saturday nights
Sundays
Some weeknights
Occasional weekday corporate events
Late-night finishes and collections are part of the events industry, so applicants must genuinely be available for evening and weekend work.
A current driver licence is required.
You must have reliable transport to get yourself to and from our warehouse or nominated starting location and be comfortable driving company vehicles when required.
A manual licence is advantageous but not essential.
Event hire is hands-on, so you must be comfortable:
Loading and unloading equipment
Safely moving event equipment
Being on your feet for extended periods
Setting up and packing down events
Working indoors and outdoors
Helping other team members with larger installations
We are looking for someone who is just as willing to help carry equipment as they are to confidently speak with a client.
Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, customer service, events, tourism, retail, corporate events, entertainment venues or technology-based roles would be highly regarded.
Previous photo booth or event hire experience is not required.
We can teach you how to use our equipment and systems.
It is much harder to teach someone to genuinely care about the client, notice the small details, take pride in their work and naturally want to help others.
You will work across some of the Gold Coast and Brisbane's leading venues, weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and large-scale activations.
Snaptured forms part of the ALO Group, which creates broader opportunities for team members beyond their initial role. For successful applicants who show initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic, there is potential to grow into different positions and career pathways across the group as the businesses continue to expand.
We are looking for people who want to become a genuine part of our team rather than simply pick up the occasional shift.
Please send your resume along with a short introduction answering:
Why do you think you would be suited to this role?
What customer service experience do you have?
What is your availability on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays?
Do you hold a current driver licence?
Do you have reliable transport?
How confident are you using computers and learning new technology?
Tell us about a time you went out of your way to help a customer, guest or team member.
If you are reliable, professional, great with people, comfortable with technology and take pride in doing things properly, we would love to hear from you.
