Your new role 

In this role, you will lead the Financial Services functional portfolio, encompassing Strategic Accounting, Finance, Technology and Digital Services, and Business Services.

As the Chief Financial Officer you will provide strategic leadership and effective organisational management that supports the achievement of business objectives through sound governance, risk management, innovation, and financial stewardship. The role is responsible for driving strategic planning, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and forward thinking, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring the organisation remains sustainable, responsive, and well-positioned to meet current and future challenges.

What you’ll need to succeed 

Applicants must demonstrate: 

• a customer focused, authentic, service driven and values-based leadership style 
• a whole organisational approach to success 
• a desire to challenge the status quo 
• a strong commitment to stakeholder engagement, innovation and diversity 
• previous demonstrated experience, at a senior/executive level, in managing a multi-disciplinary operation
• Formal Management, Business, Economics or Finance qualifications
• Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred and highly desirable
• Extensive experience in managing a program department in a similar role

The position is offered on a performance based contract of up to five years with an attractive remuneration package inclusive of salary, superannuation, vehicle allowance and professional memberships.
