The Role:
This organisation is looking for a commercially astute Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:  management reports. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to improve commercial performance.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and internal processes.
• Enhance Power BI reporting capabilities.

Your Profile:

• Experience as a Management Accountant across budgeting, forecasting, cashflow forecasting and quality reporting.
• Ideally exposure working in heavy industry sectors  
• A strong commercial mindset that empowers you to get behind numbers so that you can understand and interpret what they mean commercially and operationally
• CA/CPA qualification preferred  
• Enjoy a fast-paced, complex, data heavy environment. Given the volume and complexity of data, you should be comfortable working with large data sets
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve
• Strong Excel and ideally exposure to Power BI. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build quality relationships with key stakeholders.
