Civil Construction Labourer

As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Civil Construction Labourer to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Adelaide (Ferryden park) within our Civil department. Schedule

Full Time and Casual positions available

A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

This role is hands-on and requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The successful candidate will work closely with civil department to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general manual labour using hand tools across civil sites

• Support site preparation, backfilling, trenching and general site clean-up

• Assist operators, tradespeople and supervisors with day-to-day tasks

• Operate machinery where required

• Maintain a safe, tidy work site in line with WHS requirements and site protocols

The Candidate

We are looking for a motivated and physically capable team member who is comfortable with sustained manual labour and committed to getting the job done safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will also have:

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)

• Current driver's licence

Desired Competencies

• Machinery tickets (excavator, skid steer, roller, etc.) - desirable, not essential

• HR Licence - desirable, not essential
