Join Ampcontrol's High Voltage Field Service team in Tomago and help deliver critical electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.

As an HV Estimator, you'll work on a diverse range of projects including high voltage maintenance, substation upgrades, transformer replacements, electrical infrastructure renewals and industrial power system projects.

Working closely with customers, technical specialists and operational teams, you'll develop estimates and tender solutions that help bring these projects to life. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson, Technician or Engineer looking to apply their technical expertise in a commercial, project-focused role while contributing to complex and high-value projects across multiple industries.

What You'll Do

As an HV Estimator, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations and tender submissionsDeveloping budgets for maintenance, overhaul, upgrade and replacement projectsReviewing tender documentation, technical specifications and customer requirementsLiaising with customers to understand project scope and provide tailored solutionsSupporting pre-engineering activities and project planning processesCoordinating tender follow-ups and maintaining strong customer relationshipsParticipating in project reviews and handovers to operational teamsEnsuring tenders comply with contractual, regulatory and industry requirementsIdentifying opportunities to improve tender success rates and business growth

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Electrical trade qualifications and/or Engineering qualificationsExperience in estimating, project delivery or a related technical roleKnowledge of HV and LV electrical plant, equipment and systemsStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skillsA customer-focused approach with the ability to develop lasting relationshipsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Highly Regarded

Experience preparing electrical estimates and tender submissionsProject management qualificationsExperience within electrical services, utilities, mining, industrial or infrastructure sectors
