ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As Marketing Manager – Hush Puppies, you’ll lead the marketing strategy and execution for one of our most recognisable footwear brands. Working closely with the GM Hush Puppies, Head of Marketing and wider commercial teams, you’ll bring the brand to life through integrated campaigns, digital, retail, partnerships and customer initiatives.

This is a highly influential role that balances brand building with commercial performance. You’ll own the brand expression in market, shape seasonal marketing plans, optimise activity based on performance and lead a talented team of a Marketing Specialist and Graphic Designer to deliver standout work across every channel.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead the Hush Puppies brand and seasonal marketing strategy, translating commercial priorities into campaigns, activations and channel plans that drive brand growth.
• Own the end-to-end execution of the marketing calendar across digital, social, retail, wholesale, partnerships and key product and brand moments.
• Act as brand custodian, ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects the Hush Puppies identity, tone of voice and creative direction while continually looking for opportunities to elevate the brand.
• Drive customer and digital growth through owned and paid channels, using performance insights, customer data and market trends to optimise activity and improve awareness, consideration and conversion.
• Oversee creative campaigns, content, photoshoots, partnerships and activations, working with internal teams, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Partner with wholesale, retail, product, merchandise, VM and digital teams to ensure marketing activity is commercially aligned and supports the broader Go-To-Market strategy.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Marketing Specialist and Graphic Designer, creating a collaborative, high-performing team while managing budgets, priorities and agency relationships.

ABOUT YOU

• 7+ years’ marketing experience, ideally within footwear, fashion, retail, sport or consumer brands, with strong multi-channel campaign experience.
• A commercially minded brand marketer who can balance long-term brand building with the need to deliver measurable trade outcomes.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, retail, wholesale and in-store channels.
• Strong understanding of customer, digital and channel performance, with the ability to turn insights into practical actions and stronger marketing outcomes.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence across product, merchandise, retail, sales and digital.
• An experienced people leader who can motivate, coach and develop a small marketing team while creating clarity, accountability and high standards.
• Highly organised, resilient and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
