Dental Practice Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join the team at My Dentist Mackay.

This is a full-time leadership position for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading a team and making a real difference to the day-to-day success of a busy dental practice.

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on exceptional patient care and service.

You will play a key role in supporting and leading our clinical and support teams, coordinating practice operations, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture.

This is an important role within our practice, with the opportunity to lead, influence and contribute to the continued growth and success of My Dentist Mackay while helping our team deliver an outstanding experience for every patient.

About you

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a dental practice or healthcare environment

• Strong knowledge of dental practice management software and computer systems

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams

• Knowledge of dental practice regulations, compliance requirements and Health and Safety standards

• Customer service excellence with a patient-focused approach

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative software

• Problem-solving abilities and sound business judgment

• Professional and reliable with strong attention to detail

• Experience in a similar sized dental practice is preferred
