Join one of Ipswich’s most iconic venues — the Prince Alfred Hotel, home to Tap’d Bar, Char’d Restaurant and Plantations Café.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly Food & Beverage Attendants to deliver exceptional customer service across our bar, restaurant, and café areas.

This role would suit someone with availability across evenings and weekends. It's a great fit for uni students balancing study with work, people wanting to supplement their income, or anyone with a great attitude keen to break into hospitality — no experience necessary, just friendliness and a willingness to learn.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant / Bar Staff / Waitstaff, you’ll:

• Provide professional, friendly and efficient service

• Work across bar, restaurant, and café operations

• Pour drinks, serve meals, take orders and process payments

• Support daily operations including set-up, service and pack-down

• Deliver a welcoming experience that keeps our guests coming back

This is a casual position with immediate start up to 20 hours per week available. Increased hours are available for the right person.

We’re looking for hospitality superstars who bring:

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant, Waiter, Waitress, Barista or Bartender (preferred but not essential)

• Current RSA certification (essential)

• A positive attitude and passion for customer service

• Great communication skills and presentation

• Flexibility to work across weekends, evenings, and public holidays

• Consistent shifts up to 20 hours/week

• Flexibility with rosters.
