The Role

Our high-performing Victorian environmental team is growing with a wide range of interesting projects and sustainable design. We are a large multidisciplinary company with iconic projects across renewables, environmental studies, dams & hydropower, solar, energy transition, transport and health.

We are seeking a recent Graduate Environmental Scientist/Engineer for immediate start with an interest in Contaminated Land/Waste & Resource Recovery to join our Melbourne team. This role is for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

Fieldwork including collecting soil, water and ground gas samples from sites across Melbourne and regional VICPreparing contaminated land assessments including data management and reportingSupporting a variety of multi-disciplinary projects and opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

The role will also present opportunities to support our other environment and waste teams, including landfill investigations and hydrogeological assessments.

Suitable Applicants Will Have/be

Tertiary education in Environmental Science, engineering, geology or hydrogeologyEarly career experience working with contaminated land and Hazardous Materials (highly regarded)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environmentWillingness to work away from home for short periods for field assessmentsA current VIC driver’s license and capacity to work outdoors.
