Maintenance Fitter

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of a high performing team responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment such as corrugator, convertors, finishing machines at our established team focused Board Facility in O’Connor.

• 4-week rotating pattern across day and afternoon shift running Monday - Friday
• Day shift (2 weeks) 5:00am – 13:30pm (plus 2hours OT afterwards, subject to operational requirements)
• Afternoon shift (2 weeks) 15:00pm – 11:30pm (plus 2hours OT afterwards, subject to operational requirements)

What you will bring to the team:

• Trade qualification, in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
• Enthusiasm, energy and initiative with a team focus.
• Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Conduct preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems.
• Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.
• Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility.
