Barista

We are currently seeking hard working and experienced baristas with friendly personalities.  The successful candidate must be able to pour latte art and maintain a high quality of coffee in a very busy environment. You will also be required to work well under pressure, work well in a team environment, be well presented and be available weekends. Work hours are flexible and at least 1 year experience is preferred. 

Wait Staff

We are also seeking energetic and friendly wait staff with exceptional customer service & sales skills to join the YGOB team.

Chef

We are currently seeking an experienced chef for our family owned busy cafe/gallery/function venue. Weekend Availability is essential with working hours 9:30am - 4:00pm weekdays and 8:00am - 5:00pm weekends.  Working hours can be flexible. The menu is focused on breakfast and lunch service with occasional evening function work.

The successful candidate must have experience working in and managing busy commercial kitchens. The candidate must also be comfortable working with people with various cultural background and perform the following roles:

• prepare, cook and present great food

• create and adapt new menu items including wedding menus

• maintain and order stock

• maintain a clean workplace and comply with all food health and safety guidelines

• communicate effectively with kitchen and floor staff

• have a friendly and positive attitude

• be well presented and punctual

• have a passion for food
