HR Truck Driver / Yard Person

About us

East Coast Piling & Drilling QLD is involved in the identification of geotechnical, civil and structural problems and provision of engineering solutions to foundation and structural projects in the domestic, commercial and industrial building areas. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a HR truck driver & yard person. In this essential role, you will maintain the organisation and cleanliness of our yard, efficiently load and unload materials, and safely operate company trucks to transport goods and equipment to various locations.

Qualifications & experience

• HR License   

• CV Crane License (Preferred but not essential)

• Experience using a Hiab / Pal-finger type vehicle mounted crane (Preferred but not essential)

• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).

• Full PPE

• Strong written & communication skills

• Own transport.

• Self-Motivated applicant

• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to truck driving and yard operations. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Your daily duties will include the timely and efficient delivery and collection of piling equipment to and from construction job sites and suppliers, in and around but not limited to Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast areas.

• Basic maintenance of the truck and ensuring it is in a clean and presentable state. 

• General maintenance of the yard is another key element of the role, ensuring the piling equipment and stock is stacked safely, preparing loads for the next day etc.
