Team Leader Registered Nurse (Grade 3)- Elizabeth Gardens

The Opportunity

Royal Freemasons Elizabeth Gardens is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Team Leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care and leading by example.

As a valued member of the nursing leadership team, you will play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life of our residents through compassionate, person-centred care and strong clinical leadership.

We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about aged care, committed to clinical excellence, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for residents while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

The part-time position will work the following roster:

Week 1 

• Wednesday: 7-3:15 pm
• Thursday: 7-3:15 pm
• Friday: 7-3:15 pm

Week 2

• Wednesday: 7-3:15 pm
• Thursday: 7-3:15 pm
• Friday: 7-3:15 pm

Your Responsibilities: 

• Lead and support the clinical and care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Coordinate care delivery, clinical assessments, care planning, and AN-ACC documentation.
• Administer medications and oversee wound management in line with best practice standards.
• Collaborate with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals to achieve positive care outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and effective resource management.
  Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and open communication.

Who We are Looking for:

• Minimum 3 years Registered Nurse Experience
• Leadership experience preferably in an Aged Care Setting 
• Knowledge of Aged Care Standards
• Commitment to person-centered care
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and care planning skills

Mandatory Requirements:

• APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
