Machine Operator - Afternoon Shift - Northgate, Brisbane

Afternoon shift, 2:00pm to 10:15pm, at a growing Northgate sheet metal manufacturer running the newest machines in the business.

We're hiring for the lead-up to Christmas, with a genuine opportunity for the right person to stay on long-term.

Whether you're an experienced Machine Operator or just starting out with a forklift ticket in hand, we want to hear from you. Full training provided for the right person – what matters most is reliability and a can-do attitude.

$33.05/hr to start plus a 15% shift loading, with room to grow as you build your skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll set up, operate and maintain flashing/folding equipment to produce quality sheet metal flashings and components to specification.

Key Responsibilities

●        Set up and operate flashing/folding machinery efficiently and safely

●        Read and interpret production schedules and job specifications

●        Monitor product quality and adjust as required

●        Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

●        Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily targets

What You'll Bring

●        Forklift licence (essential)

●        Experience operating flashing, folding or roll forming machinery (advantageous, not essential)

●        Sheet metal manufacturing experience (advantageous)

●        High attention to detail and commitment to quality

●        A reliable, can-do attitude and team mindset
