Assistant Store Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Goodna, QLD, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in both retail management and automotive repairs, as you work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the store team to deliver outstanding customer service in our brand-new store.

• Carry out tyre fitting and other basic automotive services to a high standard

• Oversee inventory management and ensure efficient stock control

• Contribute to the development of in-store marketing and promotions

• Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed

• Ensure the store environment is clean, safe and well-presented at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar assistant manager or team leader role, ideally within the automotive/retail industry

• Strong technical skills in tyre fitting

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication and leadership skills

• A focus on safety and attention to detail

• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn
