Love creating content? Live and breathe social media? Want a front-row seat to the Big Bash season?
We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to join the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming Big Bash season. This is a seasonal fixed-term opportunity, expected to commence in October 2026 and run through to late January 2027.
You'll be responsible for bringing the Melbourne Stars brand to life across our social media channels, creating engaging content that connects with fans and captures the excitement of the season. From training sessions and match days to player features, behind-the-scenes moments and commercial activations, you'll help tell the stories that keep our fans engaged all summer long.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with players, coaches and the wider Marketing and Communications team, balancing creativity with quick turnarounds and real-time content throughout the season.
What you'll be doingYou'll ideally bring:
Experience working in sport or with elite athletes is highly regarded, and knowledge of the Melbourne Stars, Big Bash League and the Australian sporting landscape will be an advantage.
