A dedicated national in-house service department ensures that clients receive responsive support and reliable maintenance. Team members at Omni Group work within a customer-focused environment that values problem solving, collaboration, and consistent delivery of quality products and services.Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, role based in Tingalpa, QLD. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business customers by building strong relationships, understanding their operational needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions. Day-to-day activities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, overseeing first orders, and proactively calling on potential clients to gain new business. The Account Manager will collaborate with the service and operations teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate account records, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. The role also involves regular reporting on account performance, attending internal meetings, and contributing ideas to improve customer experience and internal processes.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in account management, customer service, or sales within a B2B environment.Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business customers.Solid organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple accounts, inquiries, and deadlines.Competence with CRM and ERP systems, as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret customer needs, identify solutions, and resolve issues promptly.Astute, in managing current customers for growth and retention, while working through a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. Knowledge of warehouse equipment, packaging, or industrial products is advantageous but not mandatory. Attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with all team members critical.
