Shift start time: 1:00PM

Pay rate: $38.36/hr + super (includes afternoon loading)

Duties:

• TUG and forklift driving, moving trailers around the depot and helping with unloading and moving of freight.

• Move and reversing trailers through the depot and into allocated bays & dock.

• Perform visual inspections of each trailer's condition before moving and report any damages or concerns to your supervisor.

• Ensure that local yard equipment is positioned effectively in accordance with operational requirements.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations.

• Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading and movement of freight in accordance with company & statutory guidelines.

Skills and Experience:

• MC Licence with a minimum of 12 months experience driving MCs.

• LF Forklift Licence.

• Excellent Driver History Report.

• Willingness to be trained on how to tug trailers.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Willingness to complete a Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical.
