Who we are:
Think Outdoor Power/ Think Water Central Coast is a specialist water solutions and outdoor power equipment business located in the Peats Ridge/ Mangrove Mountain area on the NSW Central Coast. We are focused on the design, supply and installation of quality pump and irrigation systems as well as retail sales and workshop servicing of a range of outdoor power equipment including Stihl and Honda.
For over 25 years, we have been dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service and we are now seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team.
What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Performing routine services and repairs on a range of outdoor power equipment.
Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Providing excellent customer service and advising customers on preventative maintenance.
Scheduling of jobs both in the workshop and on site.
Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used on jobs.
Ensuring the workshop is well-organised and equipment is properly stored and maintained.
Provide technical advice and back up sales support to the in-store sales team.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a similar role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
