We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers who are passionate about leading the development of innovative healthcare, life sciences, and automation solutions.
What You Will Do & What You Will BringAs a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will:Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of client satisfaction.Drive the design and development of robust, high-quality mechanical solutions that meet technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers across projects and disciplines.Oversee design reviews, product development activities, and successful transfer of products into manufacturing.Contribute to the growth and capability of the engineering team through leadership, continuous improvement, and strategic input.
In addition, we require the following skills and experience:10+ years of experience in engineering product development within biopharmaceutical, medical device, automation, or related environments.Demonstrated expertise across the full product development lifecycle, including manufacturing transfer and commercialization.Strong technical leadership experience with a proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded. Victorian Professional Engineers Registration is desirable.
