We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Contract Support - Reactive Maintenance professional to join our Asset & Field Services team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, contract coordination, stakeholder engagement and working closely with operational teams to support essential services across our network.
This role plays an important function in supporting the works management and commercial performance assessment process across Reactive Maintenance contracts. You'll provide day-to-day administration support to Contract Managers, assist with financial and contractual performance reviews, support reporting and analysis, and help drive continuous improvement across service delivery.
This role also provides short-term support to cover Contract Manager responsibilities during periods of extended leave as part of succession planning and fatigue management. This position also offers strong development opportunities for someone looking to build a long-term career in contract management.
Your Key Responsibilities
You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working across multiple priorities and has strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Provide contract administration across Reactive Maintenance contractsReview work orders and ensure alignment to contractual requirements and costsSupport financial reporting, budget performance and monthly variance analysisAssist with contract performance reporting and milestone trackingIdentify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across customer service, cost mitigation and operational efficiencySupport delivery of minor programs and capital worksBuild strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholdersAttend site meetings to understand work practices, quality outcomes and customer impactsAssist with planning and facilitation of contract management meetingsSupport customer-related issue resolution with Case Management teamsProvide short-term leave coverage support for Contract Managers where requiredWhat we're Looking for
Advanced Microsoft Office skillsExperience supporting contract management activitiesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational dataExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong time management and prioritisation skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementHighly Desirable:
