Furphy Shepparton Galvanizing is part of the J. Furphy & Sons group, a fifth-generation family-owned manufacturing business located in Shepparton, Victoria. This group includes two additional galvanizing plants in Albury and Geelong, as well as a substantial steel fabrication division in Shepparton that specializes in stainless steel tanks and vessels.

Successful Applicants Will:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, tasks based on your qualifications and experience:

• Master all aspects of the Galvanizing Process

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes

• Conduct visual quality inspections of finished goods

• Utilize hand and power tools specific to the role

• Package finished products

To Thrive in This Role:

• Embrace a team-oriented mindset that fosters success

• Exhibit excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability to changing work conditions

• A forklift license is highly desirable

• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus

• Experience in handling steel is an advantage
