Horse Riding Instructor

Love horses and enjoy working with people? This is an opportunity to combine both at Wirraway as a Horse-Riding Instructor. You’ll deliver fun, safe and engaging riding experiences for campers, including mounted, unmounted and trail riding sessions, while also helping with the day-to-day care and training of our horses. You’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for young people and guests.

About you:

This role would suit someone who is confident around horses and enjoys working with young people. A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong focus on safety are important, along with the ability to bring energy to each session, work independently and be part of a supportive team.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

• Accredited Horse Riding Instructor (Horse Safety Australia).
• Highly proficient in riding and working with horses.
• Experience working with children in a horse arena environment.
• Strong group facilitation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of safe work and risk management practices.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules and adapt when needed.

Please note: If you don’t hold the required Horse Riding Instructor qualification, we may still consider your application for a Horse Riding Assistant role.
