About the role
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist base in SYD/MEL to support our Australia and New Zealand operations, with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Talent Management.
The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, supporting local team growth and critical talent acquisition, and assisting with the planning and delivery of employee training and development initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders to provide timely and effective HR support aligned with business needs.
Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment plans aligned with organisational growth.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, resume screening, candidate communication, interview coordination, offer management and onboarding follow-up.
Develop and maintain effective recruitment channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, campus recruitment and external recruitment agencies.
Work closely with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, role requirements and selection criteria, ensuring strong candidate quality and alignment.
Build and maintain talent pools for critical and high-priority positions, while proactively monitoring the local talent market, salary trends and competitor hiring activities.
Maintain accurate recruitment data and regularly track key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, hiring completion rate, sourcing channel effectiveness and new hire retention.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and overall recruitment efficiency.
Support employer branding, campus recruitment and local talent attraction initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of annual and semi-annual training plans based on business requirements and employee development needs.
Coordinate and continuously improve new employee onboarding and induction programs to help new hires quickly understand the company, their roles and key business processes.
Coordinate internal trainers and external training providers to deliver business, management and professional development programs.
Manage training administration, including training communications, attendance, feedback collection, satisfaction surveys and effectiveness evaluations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation.
Partner with business teams to capture role-specific knowledge, develop training materials and establish standardised learning programs.
Support the conversion of operational knowledge and best practices into scalable and reusable learning content.
Assist with employee development plans, talent reviews and development programs for key positions.
Provide general HR support to employees and business stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand as required.
Support talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning and key talent development.
Partner with business leaders to identify people-related needs and provide practical HR solutions.
Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives across the region.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or generalist HR, preferably within the logistics, e-commerce, supply chain or multinational corporate environment.
Proven experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process and independently delivering multiple vacancies simultaneously.
Experience in training coordination, Learning & Development or talent management is highly desirable.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, project coordination and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Strong sense of ownership, execution capability and business acumen, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with basic data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to use both languages effectively in a professional working environment and support cross-regional communication.
Proactive, adaptable and highly motivated, with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
