What we can offer you
The Role
As Program Manager - Mackay Hostel, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Housing & Homelessness, delivering high-quality support to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Providing specialist homelessness services to individuals accommodated within our transitional housing program, as well as those experiencing or at risk of homelessness through centre-based and outreach support services. A key deliverable of this role is the coordination of service delivery, accountability for program outcomes, and responsibility for the leadership, management, and performance of employees within the line management structure.
As part of the role, you will work collaboratively with the Department of Housing and Public Works, relative NGO's and other service providers, you will play a key role in supporting vulnerable individuals to achieve positive and sustainable housing outcomes.
A critical aspect of this position is ensuring services are delivered in accordance with funding agreements, legislative requirements, and the policies and procedures of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland.
This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) role based in Mackay. This position will require shared on-call responsibilities.
