Finance Manager

About the Role

Metric Corporate Services is a Perth-based fractional CFO and business advisory practice. We are recruiting a Finance Manager to operate full-time on-site at one of our clients - a growing multi-entity organisation based in South Perth.

You'll be embedded within the client's team as their dedicated finance lead, managing a small finance team of three staff and taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing a finance team of three

• Overseeing financial reporting and month-end close

• Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow

• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable

• Payroll processing and compliance

• Liaising with external accountants and auditors

• Maintaining internal controls and financial procedures

• Providing ad hoc analysis and business partnering support

What We're Looking For

• CA or CPA qualified (essential)

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance management or senior accounting role

• Hands-on experience with MYOB Acumatica

• Strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

• An interest in and openness to adopting new technologies and process improvement, including AI-assisted workflows

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation

• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with non-finance stakeholders and department heads

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

• On-site in South Perth
