Heavy Diesel Mechanic About the Opportunity Join a global leader in recycling and industrial services based in St Marys, great hourly rates with a 17.5% shift loading and optional overtime to boost your earnings. Hands-on work primarily servicing and maintaining late-model European trucks and heavy plant machinery.

Details The Roster: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM (No weekend work) Overtime: Available when required / optional

Location: St Marys, NSW Duties Perform comprehensive maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles, trucks and plant machinery.

Carry out routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime across the operational fleet. Change brakes, replace worn components, and complete general mechanical fixes as needed. Service and maintain specialised front lift and rear lift waste management systems.

Adhere strictly to workshop safety protocols, compliance regulations and quality maintenance standards. Skills & Experience Required A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Diesel Mechanic trade).

Minimum 2 years of post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles or plant equipment. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and work efficiently within a small team. A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
