GMP Fitter

Tip Top Victoria is currently seeking GMP Fitter to join our Reliability team at our Dandenong site.

The Reliability team is pivotal to providing high quality maintenance services to the Dandenong site, ensuring critical plant reliability and availability, to support consistent optimisation of our branded product to our customers.

As a GMP Fitter, you will be responsible for and not limited to daily Preventive maintenance work orders and schedules, working closely with our site Hygiene teams to achieve high levels of plant Sanitation, and ensuring all relevant and required documentation is completed. This position is an Afternoon shift position.

Roster: Tuesday - Saturday - (Afternoon Shift)

Purpose of the Role

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on bakery equipment including ovens, conveyors, mixers, dividers, and packaging lines.Diagnose faults and carry out precision fitting, turning, and fabrication tasks as required.Support production teams with timely maintenance response to minimise downtime – display a sense of urgency when requiredParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and machine modifications.Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.MEX CMMS exposureEnsure all work complies with site safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Trade qualified Mechanical FitterStrong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience in a fast-paced food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment (preferred)Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manualsWelding, fabrication, or machining experience a mustStrong safety mindset and team-oriented approachFlexibility to work shift patterns and respond to breakdowns as needed
