Occupational & Immigration Medicals Screener

Looking for something a little different from a traditional GP reception role?

We’re a busy, friendly general practice in Cairns, Far North Queensland, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Occupational and Immigration Medicals Screener to join our team.

If you’re organised, great with people and enjoy a role with variety, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you'll be doing

You’ll help deliver occupational and pre-employment medicals, including:

• Patient health screening and clinical observations
• Height, weight, blood pressure
• Vision and hearing screening
• Spirometry and other occupational health assessments
• Completing medical questionnaires and documentation
• Preparing patients for GP assessments
• Accurate record keeping
• Working with our GPs and wider clinical team

What we're looking for

Ideally, you will have:

• Great communication and people skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confidence working independently
• A professional, friendly and positive attitude
• General practice or occupational health experience

No occupational health experience? No problem! Training will be provided for the right person.
