Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Assistant to join the Virtual Emergency Department.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Clinical Assistant role performs a variety of administrative and clinical data entry functions within the Virtual Emergency Department (VED) to assist in the smooth running and management in line with the NH vision, our commitment, legislative and regulatory requirements and quality standards to a benchmark of best practice.
The position will be rostered to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays throughout the year, in
4-6-hour shifts between 8AM to 2AM. Preference will go to candidates who can work weekday, daytime hours.
